Graphic Recording, also known as Graphic Harvesting or Visual Scribing, is a method of visualising information, usually created live onsite during a conference, workshop or other events. How it works is I listen to the ideas being presented and then using paper and markers or an Ipad translate these into a concise visual representation using images and text. The resulting graphic record can then be used to promote the work of the organisation or business, can be used in reports or other literature or shared on social media. The live drawing creates a buzz at an event, as participants can watch the drawings evolve over the course of the day. I also like bringing an interactive element into my work where relevant, creating feedback walls for participants to share their views in a creative way. To date, I have done graphic recording in my hometown Cork and all around Ireland as well as internationally and I'm happy to travel! If you think graphic recording could work for your event get in touch.
